The Titan is the latest bumper designed by Excessive Industries. Its been designed for optimal air flow through the grille to aid in engine cooling by recessing the winch completely into the bumper.
This results in zero air flow restrictions due to the winch not being mounted on top of the bumper which is great for Hemi and LS swapped Jeeps as well as Jeeps with factory powertrains.
This is a bolt on bumper that requires the front lower crash bar to be removed from the frame for access to the rear winch plate mounting points. It may be necessary to enlarge the mounting holes on the frame horns due to differences in the manufacturing process of each Jeep.
The main structure of this bumper is built entirely from 3/16 steel and is CAD designed, CNC cut, press brake formed, then precision assembled and welded.
Like every Excessive Industries front bumper, the 1/2 Inch shackle points pass through the face of the bumper and are welded directly to the mounting plates. This results in a recovery point that is far superior to most of our competitors.
Majority of manufactures stick a tab on the face of the bumper and call that good enough.
Since this bumper has a low profile integrated winch plate, we've added additional mounting points that tie the winch plate directly into the sway bar mounting locations on the bottom of the frame.
The front sway bar then mounts over the bumper making it compatible with all sway bar types. This winch plate is double layered to increase the rigidity of the winch mounting location, making this bumper extremely tough and reliable.
A Fairlead Mount designed to fit the InchWinch 'HOSS' Hawse Fairlead Inch from Brennan's Garage has also been integrated into the bumper design.
Fog light locations have also been accommodated into this bumper as a standard option, making it a total package bumper. Currently the bumper is designed for aftermarket pods like the Baja Designs Squadron Sport or Pro.
With this new low profile design, we've added another style of grille and radiator protection. I call it the Calf Bar.
One, because its a bad joke and I'm easily entertained, but mostly because its about half the size of our original Bull Bar so it's also fitting. Its tall enough to fit several pods or a light bar under it which can be mounted to the top of the bumper.
The original Stinger and Bull Bar designs are still available and provide increased protection and styles.
- Stinger height is 21 Inch, Bull Bar height is 11 Inch and the Calf Bar height is 6 Inch.
- Each is built using 2 Inch x .120 wall DOM tubing.
- The Titan is shipped bare steel and will need to be painted or powder coated accordingly.
