Description
2.625 FCD Shock - Fast Compression Damping Adjustment
The RRD 2.625 Remote Reservoir with Fast CD Adjusting Shocks feature a fluted aluminum body that delivers a remarkable weight reduction without compromising strength. This makes it the lightest remote reservoir shock in its class, while also providing a surface area larger than many 3 bodied shocks, improving cooling efficiency.
The fluting enhances the structural integrity of the aluminum cylinders, ensuring they are just as strong - if not stronger - than steel 2.50 shock bodies. To prevent corrosion and minimize wear, the shock bodies are treated with a military-grade hard anodized coating, offering long-lasting protection.
The Fast Compression Damper Adjustment Shock is built for tuneability and ease of adjustment. This shock lets you quickly and easily adjust compression dampening adding up to 30 percent more compression dampening with infinite settings.
These shocks come equipped with a high-quality DU bearings and a massive 1 17-4 PH hardened stainless steel with a hard chrome plated and polished shaft. The hard anodized billet aluminum valve circuit, combined with multi stage valving, offers precise damping control.
Redundant sealing technology ensures the shock oil stays where it should be. The specially formulated shock oil with its high viscosity index and shear stability provides fade-free damping.
Additionally, a custom solid Teflon piston wear band significantly reduces shock body wear even at extreme temperatures. These cutting-edge features make the 2.625 Remote Reservoir Shock not only lighter than competing 2.5 steel-bodied shocks but also twice as Fast at cooling, ensuring fade-resistant performance.
Plus, all RK shocks come with a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

- Why Argon for charging our shocks?
- Argon has a molecular size that is almost 3 times that of Nitrogen so it does not weep as Fast so recharging is not as frequently required, but yet Argon is still readily available at most commercial gas suppliers.
- Most all direct fit applications feature 2 Stage Valve Stacks.
- For custom valved applications please contact us directly.
- Available in 8 inch to 16 inch of travel in 1 inch increments with Loop Loop and Stem Loop Construction.
