The Rock Krawler JL/JLU Adventure-X2 Upgrade is the ultimate compromise between a daily driver and a hardcore off-roader. The Adventure-X2 system combine the benefits of a fully high-clearance, 4-link front suspension with a high-clearance, independent 3-link rear suspension.

Say goodbye to greasing your joints; our service-free long-arm systems are here to stay. Each control arm features our Adventure Series joint center, which isolates harsh road vibrations when compared to OEM bushings.

Our high misalignment joint is fitted with a steel sleeve (through which the bolt passes) that rotates freely on an additional Teflon-lined inner sleeve to ensure you're never chafing, twisting, or deforming the bushing material inside the housing as you blast through mud, sand, sleet, salt, snow, dirt, and dust.

To finish it off, as you tighten your control arms into the mounts, the sleeve of the joint acts as a buffer between the clamping force of a bracket. This means that when you tighten everything, you're not compressing the bushing. All of this makes for an incredibly long-lasting joint that never requires a drop of grease and makes zero noise inside the housing.

This is where conventional on-road handling meets badass off-road capability. With enhanced rear instant centers and rear roll centers, the X2 rear suspension geometry is the smoothest-riding 3-link suspension you can take down a trail or cruise cross country in comfort.

Requirements:

• Gas Tank Conversion (2-Door JL's Only). A JK gas tank or any aftermarket gas tank that mounts in the rear or bed of the vehicle.
• Use of an aftermarket front axle housing with FAD Delete to Weld the Front Upper Arm Mount.
• Welding of the Front and Rear Long Arm Mounts.
• Removal of the OEM frame side upper and lower control arm mounts, front and rear.
• Removal of the OEM axle side rear lower control arm and track bar mounts.
• Modifying of the OEM rear shock mounts.
• Welding of the raised rear upper shock mounts.

Recommendations:

• New front CV Driveshaft for all front shocks with a maximum extended length greater than 29 inch.
• Recommend installing limiting straps to avoid over extension of suspension components post successful installation.

Additional Notes:

• OEM hardware not included. Hardware included with rock krawler supplied mounts/brackets.
• Aftermarket axle mount kits available, call for details.
• Aftermarket rear axle cradles with link mount available, call for details.
• Utilizes stock OEM rear track bar.
• RK06692B - JL rear adjustable track bar can be added. Only valid for lift heights of 2.5 inch and above. Lift heights 3.5 inch or greater lift heights will not use the rear track bar mount provided in the kit as it uses the stock OEM Mount.
